Inductosyn® - Digital Converter

We at ALTER Elettronica are evaluating the opportunity of developing a module to convert a signal of a linear or rotative Inductosyn® into a signal of a TTL incremental encoder.

Inductosyn® is a registered trademark by Farrand Controls (today a division of Ruhle Companies Inc.) and it refers to an inductive position transducer which consists of 2 elements never in contact with each other.

Some of our customers made us aware of their necessity for a converter able to convert a signal of an Inductosyn® into a digital signal, such as the one generated by a TTL incremental encoder.

Our R&D Department is thinking about designing a compact module in a sealed case suitable for installation on board of the machine and with the characteristics that you'll find following the link below.

Do you think you'll need an Inductosyn® - digital Converter? Are there other or different characteristics you'd like to add to the converter? Please have your say and answer our ultra-fast online questionnaire!
