6ID digital servo drive with 6 thyristors for d.c. motors. Unidirectional 2-quadrant for industrial retrofits.
The 6ID digital servo drive from the D SERIES is the ideal solution for reliable control of permanent magnet or wound-field DC motors in unidirectional applications. Equipped with a proven 6-thyristor armature bridge, the 6ID operates in 2 quadrants.
Its compact design houses both the thyristor bridge (up to 500 A) and the field bridge inside the enclosure. The control and regulation electronics are fully digital and galvanically isolated from the power section. For easy access once the servo converter is installed in the cabinet, the LCD display, programming buttons, USB port and I/O connectors (optoisolated digital and differential analogue) are all located on the front panel.
Versions
The 6ID model is one of three configurations of the D SERIES. Each unit in the series is equipped with an anti-obsolescence removable memory card that allows operating parameters to be copied and transferred in seconds in case of hardware failure or replacement. For bidirectional drive requirements or machine tools, the following versions are available:
- Model 12IRD: Bidirectional 4-quadrant with 12-thyristor bridge.
- Model 6AXD: Bidirectional 4-quadrant with 6-thyristor bridge, optimized for zero-speed backlash elimination.
