The DC inductors designed by Alter Elettronica are magnetic components used both to improve the form factor of the motor armature current and to eliminate the dead zone around zero in bidirectional servo-converters with circulating current, such as our D-Series 6AXD axis control module.

The product’s sophisticated engineering ensures perfect support for current spikes of up to 200% of the rated current, without ever running the risk of magnetic saturation. In terms of performance, the inclusion of the inductor does not alter or reduce the converter’s bandwidth, keeping the dynamic response of the entire system intact.
