PWM3D-001 digital servo drive (480 Vac / 118 A) for driving AC (Alternating Current) synchronous brushless and DC (Direct Current) motors with speed transducer
"The PWM3D-001 digital servo drive is ideal for driving synchronous servomotors (permanent magnet brushless, with sinusoidal or trapezoidal commutation) and DC motors of any brand, equipped with a speed transducer, with voltages up to 480 V and maximum currents up to 118 A (rms).
Fully digital, with an IGBT bridge and 4-quadrant operation with no deadband at zero speed: the motor shaft is rigidly held even at standstill.
The PWM3D-001 digital servo converter is easy to commission thanks to a convenient LCD display with an easily navigable menu; Windows configuration software is available on request, with the possibility of viewing the parameters in graphical form (oscilloscope).
The "AutoTune" function allows the customer to speed up commissioning and better adapt the servo drive to the motor."
Versions
The PWM3D-001 digital servo drive is an advanced solution for synchronous (brushless) and DC motors, designed to deliver high performance in machine tools and complex automation systems. This servo drive is available in two main versions:
- PWM3D-001: supports power supply via three-phase voltage or DC voltage supplied by a regulated DC-BUS.
- PWM3D-011: can be powered exclusively by DC voltage supplied by a regulated DC-BUS.
Further information
Output: maximum voltage: 480 Vac - maximum current depending on size: from 5 A to 118 A (up to 160 for DC motors).
Single-phase auxiliary supply: 230 Vac ±10% - 500 mA max (protect with external slow fuses 250 V - 1 A).
Power supply: from a minimum of 60 V to a maximum of 480 V three-phase, to be protected with fuses as indicated in the manual.
Single-phase power supply possible for size 1 converters.
